Default Is it time to buy or sale.

I have watched the Real Estate Market for a very long time and the key indicators in the states are starting to tell us to sell.

However those same indicators told me to sell my google shares at $104, so who am I to read the indicators. Personally I still think there are gems to be found in every city.

What is everyone else's opinion?

I would agree with you that there are definitely bargains now. Just need to be careful picking one, and be ready to hold it for a while. Real estate is really a local business and it takes a lot of hard work to find the good ones. People spend 3 monthes on average to find their home. so should the investors.

I am glad that I don't have to sell my real estate during this time of the year. It is a tough time for sellers. If you want to sell your house now, it is going to be tremendously hard. Tighter credit, rising interest rates are preventing people from getting financed for their houses.

But if you have money to invest, I think now is the opportunity to bargain for a deal that is more for less. Interest rates and tighter credit may cause higher monthly payment, but if you really get deep discount on the prices, that should offset the higher interest rate.

Now is definitely not a time to sell.
