Im new here, and should have found this forum years ago. I just wanted to share my interaction with this company with whomever is interested. I called this company after seeing their ad in my local Craigslist here in Cincinnati. During my initial phone conversation, the 2 questions I asked pointedly were these- A. I'm under a severe time constraint and need to find a house within the next 2-3 months in a specific area. Will this program help me find a house to live in, or is this program just to help house flippers and investors? B. If I don't find a house in that time frame, can I expect a refund? The answers to both these questions was yes. After getting the instructions in my e-mail to access their website ( and after the $198 was out of my checking account on my debit card), the first hint of trouble was this- as soon as I logged onto their website one of the first things it states is that as soon as you log on to their site, you are no longer eligible for a refund!
Basically, you can find listings of "preforeclosure" houses by searching several ways, city, zip code, etc. When you find the ones listed, you send a form letter to the address using their company"S name and address, and yourself as the contact name. if anyone has the balls to call after recieving one of these form letters, I imagine the company would get the info and then inform you of the response so that you could arrange to view the house. They offer to coach you thru the whole process of negotiation with the current owners, and offer to basically hold your hand through each step until you have your dream house for pennies on the dollar.
After sending out a dozen letters and having no response, and having a very hard time getting back in touch with the company, I sent them an e-mail requestiong a refund. I was told they would review the tapes of my original phone call and if a refund was in order, I'd see it in a few days. That was 2 weeks ago. As of today, I've lodged a formal complaint with the BBB in california.
okay-now that you've read all this, I can only reiterate what has been said, but this is a more detailed personal experience you're reading
DON'T GET NEAR THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE NOTHING SHORT OF A COMPLETE RIPOFF!!!

Talking total ripoff!!!

I just called about 15 minutes ago and did not quite understand what add was about on Craigslist, so I gave them a call thinking WOW this is awesome but a bit confused . When I called female rep stated exactly what I have been reading. She ranted and raved about how I could find such an inexpensive home due to defaulted loans in my area. She babbled on and on and then it finally happened. She offered to take my information and charge me $149 to be able to log on and start searching for homes in my area. I thought it was to good to be true. So I told this lady that I would have to speak to someone and get back to her. So that is when I decided to look online and research this company. Boy do I feel relieved for not doing anything stupid. I was so tempted but held off and researched first. I want to thank everyone here who has given their stories and has opened my eyes to this major fraud operation. Thank God I did not take that step and jump the gun.

thank you so much!!!

I looked these guys up on the BBB website. They Give this company a rating of F. That's good enough for me to saty away from them. As I was looking at the BBB website I called the company to ask them gerneral questions. I asked how long they had been in bussiness and the rep told me 3 years. When I told him the BBB website listed as them starting up in Apr 07 he hung up. To shady for me....

Well I just got off the phone with Gregory @ Home Access USA. Wanted some info on this take over mortgage stuff that I saw on Craigs List. Of course he wanted money ($198.00) that was re-fundable if we didn't buy a home.
I was not giving him my credit card#. He said that I could go and check out
there web site gregory116homeaccessusa.com This is how I found this discussion talk.

OF COURSE IT WAS A BOGUS SITE!!!!

BTW the phone # that was listed on Craigs List was 800-207-0416

PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Rip Off Beware

Use some common sense.

A home with no credit check or money down and a monthly payment of: $775.00 for a 3 bedroom etc?

Yeah right.

I called and spoke to a guy named Derick Stewart and when I came back to him with common sense questions, he got angry and hung up on me.

What does that tell you?

Stay away.

RIP OFF CITY
