Loan Modification

I was falling behind on my mortgage payments on one of my investment
properties. I called my broker and he wanted to charge me $5,000 to call
my lender and do a loan modification. I didn't have that type of
money so I decided to do it myself. I found a good book on Amazon
that helped me with the process. I was able to knock $46,000 off of
my principal and lock my rate at 6%. Just trying to pass along the
help in case anyone needs it. The book I used was
